Rosy Hardy Talks 2027: Autumn Flowering Perennials
Enjoy an autumn morning and gain plant inspiration from Rosy Hardy, here at Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants.
Discover the Autumn flowering perennials that Rosy wouldn’t be without as she picks her favourites from the nursery and shares what makes each one special. Rosy will share advice on growing these plants, choosing companions for them and avoiding common problems, so you can make the most of spring colour in your own garden.
Expect practical advice, plenty of enthusiasm and ideas to take home to your own borders, with tea, coffee and biscuits included.
The talk runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm, starting promptly. You’ll also receive 10% off any plants purchased on the day, perfect if your wish list grows during the morning!

Before you visit
Getting Here & Parking
Priory Lane is a narrow, single-track lane. Please drive slowly — you may encounter pedestrians, other vehicles, horses, and wildlife sharing the road.
Park in the Shop car park — the 1st entrance on the right from the B3400. Please drive slowly entering and exiting. If you have accessibility requirements, contact us in advance and we'll arrange parking closer to the talk.
Vehicle Movements
Our yard and staff car park (in front of the large barn/potting shed) is also used by delivery drivers. Please take care when crossing the yard and avoid lingering in parking areas.
Paths & Footwear
Our paths and car parks are gravel and uneven. Please wear sturdy, close-toed, non-slip shoes or boots — this protects against slips, cold, and any sharp wire offcuts. Please do not wear open-toed sandals or flip flops.
Food Allergies & Intolerances
We provide tea, coffee and biscuits. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary preference, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Please note: we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Smoking
We operate a strict no-smoking policy during talks. It is illegal to smoke in any enclosed space, including the tunnels, potting shed and toilets. This applies to both cigarettes and e-cigarettes.
Registration & Emergency
You'll be asked to register on arrival. Please inform us if you require any additional support in the event of an emergency.
Refreshments & dietary needs
Tea, coffee and biscuits
If you have a food allergy, intolerance or dietary preference, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to supply an alternative for you.
We cannot guarantee an allergen free environment.
