Geum ‘Pink Frills’ bears ruffled, nodding flowers with pale pink, notched petals, darker pink veins and red bracts in late spring. They rise above a rosette of creased green foliage. Its delicate colouring is much sought after by designers.
Try it beside a stream, weaving through a woodland garden or at the front of a cottage garden border. Its clumps of foliage provide ground cover, helping to suppress weeds.
Grow it in full sun or light shade in fertile, well-drained soil that retains some moisture. Tidy the foliage in early spring and autumn.
