Monarda ‘Jacob Cline’, commonly known as bergamot, bears large, dark red flowerheads with narrow petals and purple-black bracts in summer. Strong, upright stems carry the flowers above aromatic, mid-green, dagger-shaped leaves.
Plant it in clumps for a concentrated display of summer colour. It grows well in sun or partial shade in rich, well-drained soil that retains moisture during summer.
