Salvia ‘Pink Amistad’ bears large pink flowers on tall, willowy spikes from late May until the first autumn frosts. It is a pink-flowered form of ‘Amistad’.
Try planting it in drifts through a herbaceous or mixed border, where its upright flower spikes can be combined with ornamental grasses and daisy-flowered plants such as Rudbeckia. It is also suited to coastal gardens. Grow it in full sun in fertile, well-drained soil.
Hardiness: H3 (−5°C to 1°C). Half-hardy, suited to mild, sheltered gardens. Protect from early frosts and provide winter protection in colder areas.
