Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
The true major var. rosea form of Astrantia — the original stock came from the great plantswoman Margery Fish. The pale pink pincushion flowers make a wonderful show throughout summer, attracting bees and other beneficial insects. Perfect for planting in groups or weaving through a border, they also cut and dry well for floral displays.
Happiest in partial shade in a moisture-retentive soil. Once established for around three years, it is advisable to divide the clumps to keep them vigorous.
